HUMAN RIGHTS DINNER- The NJEA Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner Celebration chaired by EOEA President Jacqui Greadington was a huge success. Keynote speaker Dr. Adolph Brown III, entertainment by our own Cicely Tyson Concert Choir was enjoyed by all.
Black History Month-Schools participating in Black History Programs will be allotted $100.00 by the Pride committee for light refreshments for parents, guardians, and community members attending programs. You must provide a program acknowledging EOEA is providing funds for refreshments along with a sign-in sheet and original receipt(s) for reimbursement. No refunds will be given for purchases made at Wal-Mart or Sam’s Club. Receipts must be received at the EOEA office no later than March 1, 2012.

ECEA PRIDE EXPO at the Livingston Mall-The ECEA PRIDE Expo at Livingston Mall will take place March 2 thru March 9, 2012. The Mall Expo will showcase performances, displays, artwork, sculptures, drawings and other projects by our students. Please come out and give your support. Display setup for the Pride Expo is Thursday, March 2, 2012. Opening ceremonies will take place Friday, March 3rd, at 6:30 p.m.

This committee showcases and highlights the accomplishments of East Orange Education Association Members. Each year the EOEA honors up to ten of its members who have promoted pride in the school and/or in the community by initiating or participating in activities and projects, which have promoted PRIDE. This is the time to be recognized for some of the many great things you do. Self-nominations are also encouraged.
