EOEA PRIDE in Public Education Award Winners
Each year the EOEA recognizing members who have participated in or have initiated projects that have promoted PRIDE in the school and/or community. This year we are proud to announce the following teachers that were honored and awarded the EOEA PRIDE in Public Education Award:
Evelyn M. Alfaro- Bowser—Winner of the National Book Challenge
Angela McGhee- Cochran—Involved students in a variety of programs throughout the county, country, and outside London, England.
Faheem A Lateef – Louverture – Founder of The Sons of Louverture a program that addresses issues of peer group aggression among male students.
Duane M. Phillips – Louverture – Founder of The Sons of Louverture a program that addresses issues of peer group aggression among male students.
Jason Field-Louverture – Founder of The Sons of Louverture a program that addresses issues of peer group aggression among male students.
Keith Hinton II- Garvin – Participates in the African Advantage program in which outside community members come in to motivate students to take Pride in their backgrounds and heritage.
Henry O. Nabutet – Banneker—Leader of the New Jersey Halala USA chapter organization which focuses on projects such as medical, clothing and supports needy students.
